The scraper-type vacuum drum filter is a common open type, outer filter surface, rear (or lower) feeding, scraper discharge (hereinafter referred to as the filter).
The vacuum drum filter realizes the solid-liquid separation of the suspension under the action of vacuum (negative pressure) through the filter cloth running synchronously with the drum, and it is blown back by compressed air and passed through the scraper device.
The unloaded filter cake is blown back by compressed air to realize the regeneration of the filter cloth. With the characteristics of high degree of automation and continuous operation, it is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, tailings, environmental protection and other industries.
This filter is suitable for filtering suspensions with moderate solid phase concentration and specific gravity and relatively uniform particle size. The following conditions are suitable for this filter:
A. The thickness of the filter cake obtained in the filtration time of two minutes is greater than 5 mm suspension.
B, the solid specific gravity and moderate particle size make the solid phase sedimentation velocity less than 12mm/suspension.
C, a suspension with low viscosity, no glue, which is not easy to block the filter cloth, and makes the filter cloth easier to re-sound.
D, the filtration temperature is lower than the vaporization temperature of the suspension under a considerable vacuum in the drum.
E, a small amount of solid particles are allowed in the filtrate.
F, large processing capacity, and occasions requiring continuous operation
